- Merit Reward : In its policy of encouraging excellence in academic performance the Institute provides waiver of
30000 and 20000 ( in first year and second year of the course) to select candidates who have scored more than 80 percentile score in CAT 2010 Examination and 90 percentile in MAT Examination on their admission to SBIM's management programme.
- Voluntary Affirmative Action : The Institute is dedicated to promote societal welfare by providing assistance to socially and economically weaker

| sections. In order to enable socially and economically disadvantaged groups of society SBIM has provisions of providing financial assistance to selected students. The students identified in disadvantaged groups are given waiver of varying degrees depending upon the merits of the case. |
