We at SBIM strongly believe that PGDM curriculum is designed to be at par with some of best b-school curriculums in the country. What is required at top priority is to align this with the requirements of the industry.
SBIM in association with some of the leading companies in the world has designed unique programme - SBIM Corporate Excellence Programme. It is NOT a training programme.
This programme is completely driven by industry and has the following unique features:
- Continuous Evaluation: Programme is conducted for the complete duration of the course with regular evaluation by the industry.
- Latest Update: Educate the students with the latest developments in the market w.r.t core subjects studied as per the syllabus.
- Projects: Advance level of theoretical and practical learning strictly on the pattern required by the industry. This is mostly project driven.
- New subjects: Learning new subjects which may not have been included in the syllabus.
- Problem Solving: Special emphasis on problem solving skill and working in teams to solve the problem.
- Individual Design: It is individually designed for each of the specialization. Emphasis is on the requirements of the industry.
- Global Exposure: Students get the chance to share their experiences and technical knowledge with foreign companies and universities.
This complete programme works as follows:
- Regular subjects are taught for the complete duration of the course.
- Evaluation is done based on
a. Internal Components
- Project & Seminar
- Class Participation
- Attendance
b. External components: - Final/Semester Examination
- Marksheets will be issued to students at the end of every year.
- A joint Certificate and final marksheet will be given to all the students at the end of last Semester of the course by SBIM and the associated company.
